Positivity of permutation pattern character polynomials

Let Nσ(π) denote the number of occurrences a permutation pattern σ∈Sk in π∈Sn. Gaetz and Ryba [3] showed using partition algebras that d-th moment Mσ,d,n(π) Nσ on conjugacy class π is given by polynomial n,m1,…,mdk, where mi denotes i-cycles π. They also coefficient 〈χλ[n],Mσ,d,n〉 agrees with aσ,dλ(n) n. This work motivated conjecture when σ=idk identity permutation, all these coefficients are nonnegative. We directly compute closed forms for polynomials aidkλ(n) cases λ=(1),(1,1), (2), use this to verify positivity those showing real-rooted roots less than k. study case aσ(1)(n), which we give formula their leading coefficients.
